The University of Nebraska-Lincoln established the Nonresident Nebraska Income Tax Credit (Credit) in the fall of 1995. The Credit is
available to students who are nonresidents for tuition purposes. It provides a tuition credit up to the amount of Nebraska income tax
paid by themselves, an individual who claims them as their dependent, or their spouse. The Credit cannot exceed the nonresident portion
of tuition.
If part or all of your educational expenses are being paid by an embassy, agency or company, you can elect to have them billed directly
through our Third Party Billing process. We require written authorization from the sponsor. Please have your sponsor use the form
provided below if possible. You must also complete the information release form below.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers consolidated student account customers the convenience of Electronic Refund Direct Deposit. The electronic refund direct deposit program allows you to have your Student Account refund automatically deposited directly into your personal checking or savings account.
